Mumbai: Left-arm orthodox spinner Salil Agarkar brought a glimmer of hope for the Central Railway Sports Association against Mumbai Customs Sports Club on the second day of the three-day Times Shield ‘A’ Division semfinal at the Western Railway ground, Mahalaxmi, on Wednesday.
Agarkar took six for 52 to restrict Customs, who started the day from an overnight score of 122 for 3, to 192 allout.
Sachin Yadav (88, 139b, 4x13) was the top scorer for the Customs, who took a crucial first innings lead of 53 runs.
Central Railway finished the day at 186-7 with a lead of 134 thanks to an innings of 91 played by Gandhar Bhatavdekar (123b, 4x8, 6x2).
