MUMBAI: A murder suspect from Bhayander absconding for the last 19 months was arrested from Thane.
Thakur Yadav (50) was accused of murdering Ramdeep Mourya (55) on May 18, 2014. The two had some financial dispute.
Yadav allegedly abducted Mourya in an autorickshaw and killed him, with the CCTV footages having shown the abduction. Yadav was absconding since then.
His two sons and brother were arrested.
On Monday, two men were seen chasing Yadav at Thane. They were Mourya's relatives and bumped into Yadav. A policeman on duty nabbed Yadav, who confessed to the crime. He has been handed over to the Navghar police.
