8th accused in cricket betting racket arrested

Mumbai: A bookie who was wanted in a six month old case of cricket betting was arrested by the crime branch. The unit 12 of the crime branch on Saturday arrested Sushil Agarwal alias Sushil Bhayander, a resident of Mira Road in Thane. Sushil is the 8th accused arrested in the case so far. Last month police had arrested a bookie identified asNitin Jayantilal Furia alias Nitin Malad.In November, police raided a hotel room and claimed to have busted an inter-state online betting racket linked to Dubai based bookies.TNN
