The container driver, Kurshid Ahmed (30), who fled the scene abandoning his vehicle, was later apprehended by Amboli police.

Jaiswal, renowned for his role as Akash Bharadwaj in the television series Dhartiputra Nandini, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, as reported by the officer, Jaiswal sustained critical injuries in the collision and passed away before reaching a nearby hospital. "A case has been registered against the container driver for rash and negligent driving. The vehicle was coming from Panvel when the accident occurred," said the officer.
