23 injured, 8 critical as bus crashes into parked truck on Mumbai-Pune Expressway
MUMBAI: At least 23 people were injured when a private luxury bus, en route from Kolhapur to Mumbai, crashed into a truck parked illegally on the shoulder lane of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Bhot Ghat in Khopoli early Saturday.
Emergency responders from IRB’s ambulance service quickly transported all injured passengers to MGM Hospital in Kamothe.
Among those hospitalized, eight are reported to be in critical condition.
