20-year-old college student collapses outside Kandivali college, dies

MUMBAI: A 20-year-old college-goer collapsed near the entrance to a Kandivali based college and was later pronounced dead at a hospital on Friday. Police said the woman suffered from low blood pressure.

An autopsy examination will give the exact cause of death and is awaited. Samta Nagar Police have recorded an accidental death.

The incident occurred around 7.45am near Nirmala College on 90 Feet Road, Kandivali East. The woman was a third year BSc (IT) student).

She was about to enter college when she lost consciousness and collapsed. The Samta Nagar Police was immediately informed.

She was rushed to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.
