MUMBAI: The body of a 20-year-old man was found hanging from a tree by a shirt inside Aarey Colony on Sunday. Residents of unit 13 locality alerted the police on spotting the body in the morning.
The man, later identified as Suresh Shanmugam, who lived in a different part of Aarey Colony. An electrician, Shanmugam had left home on Saturday after which he was found dead.
The police said that Shanmugam was addicted to the bottle. The shirt by which he was found hanging is his shirt, said the police.
No
suicide
note has been found around the place the body was found, the police said.
An accidental death report has been filed at Aareypolice station. An officer said they are investigating to find out if any foul play was involved in the death.
