20-30% CCTVs in cities not working: CM
Mumbai: Although the govt has set up CCTVs cameras for security, in some cities as many as 20-30% of them were not working, admitted chief minister Devendra Fadnavis who controls the home department.
Meanwhile, responding to a question on the koyta gang in Pune, Fadnavis said this was a misnomer.
"There is no koyta gang. It is a group of juveniles who are wielding a koyta to get a thrill. They are around 15-16 years old," said Fadnavis.
The CM said that they would be rehabilitated in accordance with the DISHA Act. Fadnavis also said that the state would crack down on those responsible for employing the children or planning the crime.
