2 new judges appointed in Bombay HC

President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday appointed two new judges for Bombay High Court - Santosh Govindrao Chapalgaonkar and Milind Manohar Sathaye, both advocates. They have been appointed as additional judges in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge.

Their names were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium headed by ex-Chief Justice of India U U Lalit. Union law minister Kiren Rijiju posted on his social media handle his "best wishes to them.''
