2 held with 32 stolen phones

on Tuesday night arrested two men as they were about to board an

outstation train

from

LTT

with 32

stolen mobile phones

worth a total Rs 4.5 lakh.

Officials said Raghukumar Mahato (22) and Subhan Shaikh (19), who are from

Jharkhand

, would come to Mumbai to rob train passengers and return home with the stolen valuables every fortnight or month. “This is the first time, they have been caught. Six cases of phone thefts registered with Kurla GRP have been solved with their arrest,” said an official. tnn
