14 injured after car hits autos, pedestrians

Fourteen people were injured after the driver of a Honda Accord fainted at the wheel and lost control over the vehicle, ramming into autorickshaws, pedestrians and a biker at the Western Express Highway-JVLR junction.

MUMBAI: Fourteen people were injured after the driver of a Honda Accord fainted at the wheel and lost control over the vehicle, ramming into autorickshaws, pedestrians and a biker at the Western Express Highway-JVLR junction on Friday night.
The injured were taken to Cooper Hospital where 10 wer15P2-3.TIMafter first aid. Four others, Khushbu Mishra (6), Kamladevi Mishra (65), Suresh Sawant (62) and Sudhakar Ludbe (50), are still under treatment at the hospital.
The police said the driver of the vehicle, Rahidas Kamavade (32), a resident of Versova, was arrested for rash and negligent driving and was later released on bail.
