13-yr-old boy held for sister’s death

Vasai: A 13-year-old boy has been accused of killing his 7-year-old sister at their Nalasopara home on Thursday. The family initially claimed that the girl had fallen off a stool. The autopsy report said she died due to injury to the neck.
CCTV footage showed the boy enter the house with the sister, but come out alone, said senior police inspector Aviraj Kurade. He confessed he attacked her with a cutter over an argument, police said, adding that he stabbed her in the neck and left her bleeding. —Vishal Rajemahadik
