As tensions flared between them, Aditya reportedly used a country-made pistol, resulting in the tragic shooting of Muskan, while their mother, Babita, was in another part of the house, unaware of the altercation, the ASP mentioned.

Despite prompt efforts from locals who rushed her to the hospital, Muskan was declared dead on arrival.

The accused, Aditya, believed to be in his early twenties, is currently on the run, prompting a police manhunt.

Locals disclosed that Aditya had objections regarding Muskan's relationship with a youth from a different community within the same village.

The authorities are investigating the case thoroughly, exploring all possible angles, as stated by the ASP.
