Father, son die in road accident in Bijnor

Bijnor: A 60-year-old man and his son were killed, and his wife injured, after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Bijnor's Mandawar area, police said on Wednesday.Shamim, his wife Shamima, and their son Shariq (18) were traveling by bike to Laksar in Uttarakhand for medicines when they were struck near Ramjiwala Chakra. Shamim and Shariq died on the spot, while Shamima sustained serious injuries and was taken to a district hospital, where she is in critical condition.Mandawar station house officer Madho Singh Bisht said police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the vehicle owner, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
