Three brothers die after speeding bus hits their bike

: In a tragic road accident, three

brothers

died after a speeding bus hit their bike in Bijnor’s Shahpur village on Sunday. The trio, who worked in a pipe factory, was on their way to factory when incident occurred.


According to police, three brothers-Lokendra Kumar (21), Rohit Kumar (19) and Jivendra Kumar (17) of Sikandari village, were on a bike and were going to Ganj-based factory around 8 am on Sunday. When they reached close to Shahpur village, a speeding roadways bus coming from the opposite side crushed them killing on the spot.

After the accident, the driver of the bus ran away leaving the bus on spot. After getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and took them to district hospital where doctors declared them dead. Autopsy of the bodies was going when the report was filed.

Police have filed a case against bus driver based on the complaint of

Charan Singh

, father of the deceased. The driver is still on the loose.

According to villagers, Charan Singh had five children including three sons and two daughters. They were the helping hand of the family. The accident has claimed the lives of all sons of Singh. The villagers were deeply shocked after hearing about the incident. All the deceased were unmarried.

Confirming the death of three brothers in a road accident, Bijnor city station house officer, Bijendra Singh Rana, said, “Three brothers died on the spot after a bus crushed them. Police have registered a case against the accused driver under relevant sections and he is still at large and police are on the hunt to arrest him. He will be arrested soon.”
