Man, two kids die in road accident

BIJNOR: A man and his two children died in a road accident on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Saurabh Sharma, Tanishq and Tanishqa. The incident happened when Saurabh, 26, his wife Sandhya and his 4-year-old son and one-year-old daughter were returning from Shahwazpur Dor village under Gajraula police station area in Amroha district after celebrating Rakshabandhan.
On Thursday evening, four of them along with Sandhya’s brother Pavan Kumar were coming towards Gajraula on a motorcycle. Their bike was hit by a mini container near Naipura village on National Highway.
After getting information about the accident, police took them to district hospital from where Saurabh Sharma, his daughter and son were referred to a hospital in Meerut where they succumbed to their injuries. Sandhya and his brother are being treated as a hospital in Amroha.
Gajraula station house officer said, “Three persons, including a man and his two children, died in collision of bike and mini container on Thursday while two other got injured. Police have detained the driver of mini container and seized his vehicle. All the deceased were from Jakhera village under Syana police station area of Bulandshahar district.”
