MEERUT: A
Continuing Medical Education(CME) program on Pediatric Cardiology was held on Sunday at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut, bringing together leading pediatric cardiologists, physicians, and medical students.According to LLRM officials, the academic symposium focused on the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of
heart diseases in children.
The event was chaired by Dr Munesh Tomar, senior pediatric cardiology at LLRM.
Prof. Anita Saxena, delivered the keynote address on “Clinical Approach to Pediatric Cardiology.” She was followed by Prof. Saurabh Gupta from AIIMS Delhi, who spoke on “Heart Failure: New Perspectives in Management.”
Several panel discussions were also held during the event, covering key topics such as pediatric cardiac management, strategies for managing
Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN), and the latest updates on Kawasaki Disease.
