In Aligarh's Iglas, criminals attack 11, kill one
ALIGARH: In a shocking incident a milkman was beaten to death by unknown men while he was returning from work. The incident took place in Iglas, Aligarh.
According to the cops there were almost a dozen of criminals who had planned murder of one and attacked 11 to mislead the investigation. They said the criminals were "trying to portray it as loot while murdering the one they wanted to."
An FIR has been under relevant sections of IPC against the unknown.
Brijesh Kumar, Additional SP RA said that a 30-year-old milkman Lohre was returning from work when he suddenly found unknown people attacking him with lathis, and also robbed him. The road was blocked and villagers later protested.
He said, “Lohre suffered serious injuries and died after attack. He was returning from work when some people dragged him close to a drain and attacked him with lathis. His head was injured. The murderers had planned it like a general incident of loot and tried to mislead the police by attacking other travelers who followed the victim. But none of them sustained serious injuries, in fact most of them went back home after the incident, only one died. It appears that the attackers wanted to show this incident as a general case of robbery. The case will be investigated.”
The unknown criminals had snatched the mobile phones of others who followed Lohre so that no calls could be made. The incident took place on late Sunday night. When the attackers left the villagers called police.
