SAHARANPUR: The body of police constable Sunny was found on Monday, covered in blood, in the police lines area of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The 30-year-old, Agra resident and had been recruited in 2021, had just arrived from Badgaon police station the previous day to begin a month-long duty.
Abhimanyu Mangalik, the Saharanpur city SP, said to PTI, 'Sunny was found dead under suspicious circumstances with his body covered in blood on the first floor of the Naveen Bairang building.'
Senior officers immediately responded upon receiving the information.
The police have informed Sunny's family and sent his body for a post-mortem.
