MEERUT: The Congress party on Friday told TOI that they are planning a ‘mega-rally’ in the national capital to press for the demand for Jat reservations in December.
The protest will be led by the party’s Jat leaders such as Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Randeep Singh Surjewala.
Congress has started a recruitment drive under which they are recruiting young Jat volunteers to crate consensus for Jat reservation.

These volunteers, according to a Congressman, will canvass the country-side and encourage people to join the party’s stir.
The volunteers are being recruited from western UP, Haryana and some districts in Rajasthan.
