BIJNOR: A passenger bus carrying pilgrims from Nepal to Haridwar faced a perilous situation as it got stuck in the strong currents of the local Kotawali river along the Bijnor-Haridwar NH 74 route, as reported by the police.
Swift action was taken by the authorities to ensure the safety of all 53 pilgrims aboard.
The police deployed heavy machinery to extricate the bus from the treacherous river.
