SHAMLI: Allahabad high court granted bail to jailed three-time Kairana Samajwadi Party MLA Nahid Hasan in a Gangster Act case on Wednesday. Hasan was arrested on January 15 by the UP police.
He was wanted in a case in which police had slapped the Gangster and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act on him for an incident that took place in February 2021. He was lodged in Chitrakoot jail.
"The HC has accepted the bail plea of MLA Hasan. He will be freed in two-three days from Chitrakoot jail," said Hasan's advocate .
