SHAMLI: A 19-year-old has been arrested for allegedly killing Aman Raza, a beauty salon worker whose body was found with 21 injury marks near Bareilly City railway station, police said on Saturday.Raza, 24, a resident of Malukpur in the Kila area, was found on Wednesday inside an abandoned railway quarter. His family had initially lodged a complaint against three of his colleagues, but they were later found to have no role in the crime.Circle officer (CO) Ashutosh Shivam said, “Accused Samad Musa, a resident of Jakhira in the Kila area, was arrested after CCTV footage and surveillance led us to him.”During interrogation, police said Samad told them that he and Raza had become acquainted through social media and later developed a friendship. “Samad used to make social media reels and Raza would tease him by posting comments and emojis that he found insulting. He decided to take revenge,” the CO said.Officials said that on April 7, Samad allegedly called Raza near the railway tracks, pushed him down and attacked him with bricks and stones. He then allegedly strangled him and dragged the body inside the abandoned railway quarter.
