NEW DELHI: At least 10 people died and 27 others were injured after a pickup van collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction in Salempur, UP, on Sunday.
The accident occurred on the Budaun-Meerut state highway.
The injured have been sent to the hospital," according to district magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the incident and directed officials to ensure that the injured get the medical treatment.
