Woman killed by hubby, mother-in-law

MANGALORE: A man, who suspected his wife's fidelity joined his mother in attacking his spouse with a sickle at Apperipade village in Vittla Kasba Hobli of Bantwal taluk near here on Thursday.
Nanjunde Gowda, Bantwal Circle police inspector, named the accused as Ravish (38) and his mother Parvathi (58). Saraswathi (28) who had a routine squabble with her mother-in-law, Parvathi, was attacked by the latter with a sickle.Ravish who harboured his own grouse against Saraswathi joined his mother in finishing the job. Rohithaksha, the four-year-old son of the estranged couple, was the eyewitness to this murder. Police have arrested both Ravish and Parvathi and will produce them before the court.
