New taluks will be getting Mini Vidhana Soudhas, taluk offices, RTOs, courts, fire stations, town halls, Ambedkar Bhavans, taluk hospitals and other taluk-level facilities, the minister said, adding that it may take another 6-7 months to complete the process of new taluk formation.
“We have already submitted the proposed maps for Ullal and Mulky taluks. Area delimitation will be finalized after inviting suggestions and objections from general public,” he added.
Meanwhile, the newly formed Kadaba and Moodbidri taluks will be inaugurated by revenue minister R V Deshpande on March 7.
