Licences revoked of two restaurants

Udupi: In light of repeated violations, the licences of two restaurants were cancelled at the request of the district police. Udupi SP Arun K said that he had urged the deputy commissioner to revoke the licences of Dee-Tee (Bhavani) Lodging and Restaurant, located at building number 4-94E4, and the bar and restaurant 7th Heaven (Ecstasy), operated at Shambhavi Associates in buildings 2-7E, E1, E2, E3, E4, and E5. This decision was made because these establishments allowed customers to stay until late at night, without implementing any precautionary measures, leading to repeated criminal incidents that threaten public order.
A total of five cases were registered against Dee-Tee (Bhavani) Lodging and Restaurant at the Manipal police station. For 7th Heaven Bar & Restaurant, four cases were recorded this year, including one related to hosting a party with a DJ, along with one case from Mumbai and another from the excise department, stated a release.
Consequently, the Udupi City Municipality revoked the licences for both Dee-Tee and 7th Heaven.
