Toddler killed after coconut falls on head

Udupi: A 1.5 year old boy died after a coconut fell from a tall tree and hit him on the head near his residence at Heranje in Brahmavar on Tuesday. According to sources, the incident occurred when the mother was carrying the toddler and accompanying her six-year-old child to the bus stand. Locals rushed the child to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries later during the day.
