City police have arrested three persons in connection with two separate cases of crime registered in Mangaluru South police station limits.

MANGALURU: City police have arrested three persons in connection with two separate cases of crime registered in Mangaluru South police station limits.
The accused are Prakash N, 35; Manikanta, 21; and Ashwin, 20. Police seized a Yamaha FZ BSIII motorcycle valued at Rs 95,000, a mobile handset and cash from their possession. Mangaluru South police station police inspector Dinakar Shetty who was doing a routine check at Mahakali Padpu stopped a motorcycle that Prakash was driving.

When they realized it was stolen vehicle, police arrested them.
Manikanta and Ashwin had allegedly stolen a purse containing Rs 10,000 and a cellphone belonging to Sooraj Kumar, a security guard from his room. Ananth Murdeshwar, police SI, Mangaluru South station and nabbed the men at Saibeen Complex on Wednesday. They seized the stolen handset and cash.
