Temporary stoppages of train for Haj pilgrims

MANGALORE: Southern Railway on instructions from E Ahamed, Union minister of state for railways, has provided temporary stoppage to the following trains for three minutes at Ferok railway station from October 20 to November 22 to facilitate Haj pilgrims.
The trains include 6305/6306 Ernakulam Jn - Kannur - Ernakulam Jn expresses, 6345/6346 Thiruvananthapuram - Mumbai Lokamanya Tilak Terminus - Thiruvananthapuram expresses, 6627/6628 Chennai Central - Mangalore - Chennai Central West Coast expresses, 6603/6604 Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram - Mangalore Maveli expresses, and 2076 /2075 Thiruvananthapuram - Kozhikode - Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi expresses.
Likewise, stoppage timings of the following eight pairs of trains are increased from one minute to three minutes at Ferok during the above period. These include train 6629/6630 Thiruvananthapuram - Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram Malabar expresses, 6347/6348 Thiruvananthapuram - Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram expresses, 6349/6350 Thiruvananthapuram - Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram Parasuram expresses, 6605/6606 Mangalore - Kochuveli - Mangalore expresses, 2617/2618 Ernakulam Jn - Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Jn Mangala Lakshadweep expresses, 6333/6334 Thiruvananthapuram - Veraval - Thiruvananthapuram weekly expresses, 6335/6336 Nagercoil - Gandhidham - Nagercoil Expresses, 6337/6338 Ernakulam Jn. - Okha - Ernakulam Jn bi-weekly expresses.
