MANGALORE: A series of concerts and dance performances will be held on NIT-K campus at Srinivasnagar here as part of the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture among youth (SPICMACAY) Virasat '09. A press release from Sharath Adavanne, student co-ordinator of Virasat '09 here stated that the performances will start on September 6 and end on November 11.

The event will feature artists such as Tarun Bhattacharya (September 6), Malabika Mitra with Kathak from September 6 to 11, Asad Ali Khan on Rudra Veena from October 4 to 10, Arati Anklekar Hindustani vocal and Kamala Shankar on Hindustani guitar from October 5 to 10, Kapila Venu with Koodiyattam from November 2 to 7, and T M Krishna on Carnatic vocal from November 9 to 11.
