Sampoorna Suraksha extends facilities

MANGALORE: The facilities of `Sampoorna Suraksha', a comprehensive hospital insurance programme promoted by Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) under the guidance of D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, is extended to members of the scheme who get admitted in Wenlock Government Hospital.
A release from L H Manjunath, executive director, SKDRDP, stated that the scheme successfully implemented for the last five years, has so far provided health compensation against hospitalization and other emergencies to the extent of Rs 46.37 crores to 1,57,233 members.

Free of cost treatment given in 110 identified network hospitals are compensated under the scheme.
He stated that considering the government hospitals also have excellent ward and treatment facilities, SKDRDP made efforts to enrol the government hospitals under the scheme. In this regard K V Bhat, director of the schemes held detailed discussion with Dr Prabhudev, chief of Wenlock Government Hospital to provide the facilities from Wenlock Government Hospital.
The facility is already available in Udupi Government Hospital for Sampoorna Suraksha members since last two years.
Manjunath further stated that SKDRDP has made elaborate arrangements to provide quality service through Wenlock Government Hospital by providing facility of sampoorna suraksha assistance round the clock in the hospital.
Manjunath requested members to make use of the facilities available in the Wenlock Hospital.
