MANGALORE: The department of oncology, KMC Hospital, Attavar, organized a continuing nursing education (CNE) programme on nursing care in breast cancer on Monday at the hospital here.
Guest of honour Dr G Rajagopal, dean, KMC, Mangalore, who released the chemotherapy competency handbook congratulated the contributors Christopher Sudhaker, K Kamalaksha Shenoy, Radhika Rao K, Janet Prameela D'Souza, Krupavenu S Harugoppa, Mahesh Inder Vir Singh, and Challapalli Srinivas for their efforts in bringing out a informative handbook on this occasion.

This CNE was attended by over 50 participants from in and around Mangalore. The issues discussed in this programme included nursing care of breast cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy, chemotherapy and radiation safety aspects for oncology nurses. Dr Mahesh Indervir Singh, COO, KMC hospital, Mangalore was the chief guest.
