Police officials get ATM as gift

MANGALORE: Police officials and staff working in the district police office premises got a police commemoration day present in the form of an exclusive SBI ATM for them here on Wednesday. The inspector-general of police (western range) Gopal B Hosur inaugurated the ATM located on the ground floor of the office of superintendent of police, next to the FIR help desk.SP A S Rao made the first withdrawal from the ATM.
A press release from Chaitanya M Tallur, assistant general manager, State Bank of India (SBI) here stated that the bank has lent more meaning to the police commemoration day, a day on which the department recognized the sacrifices made by policemen by opening an exclusive ATM for their use. Senior police and bank officials including Amit Singh and Chandragupta, ASPs, and B A Sathyamurthy, AGM, were present.
