Mangaluru: A paediatrician from Ujire, about 70 km from here, has complained to the Belthangady police, that miscreants have hacked his Twitter account last week, and uploaded anti-hijab posts. The screenshots of the posts had reportedly gone viral.
Dr Shantanu R Prabhu said that he had two Twitter accounts, and was not accessing one, because he had lost the password and ID. He was shocked when his friends told him that his Twitter posts on the hijab controversy had gone viral. It had also reached his college group. The moment he realised that his account was hacked, he filed a complaint.
“It is unfortunate that the miscreants were trying to spread hatred and bring a bad name to the hospital I work for,” the doctor said.
