No secure environment for women in Karnataka: BY Vijayendra

UDUPI: BJP state president BY Vijayendra stated that there is no secure environment in the state for women to reach home safely.

He informed party workers here on Saturday that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has neglected his responsibilities and is engaged in appeasement. “Mothers of girl children in the state are questioning whether they are in Karnataka or in a place that is under Taliban rule. This is a serious issue. Hence, people need to give a befitting reply to the Congress in the Lok Sabha election,” Vijayendra said.

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar termed the cooker blast in Mangaluru a ‘minor incident’. Congress leaders made efforts to protect those who shouted pro-Pakistan slogans inside Vidhan Soudha. The murder of Neha in Hubballi is also a direct result of the Congress government’s appeasement policy. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G Parameshwara consider the incident ‘personal’. A YouTuber, who created a song for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was thrashed by miscreants belonging to a particular community. There is a total collapse in the law and order situation in the state. The government is not showing concern even when the state has been witnessing several murders, Vijayendra said.

On the Udupi – Chikmagalur constituency, Vijayendra mentioned that each blood cell of people here contains Hindutva. Hence, whoever the candidate is, the BJP will win with a huge margin of at least 3 to 4 lakh votes, he said.

“Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said the BJP needs to be defeated and Modi should not become the PM again. Kharge stated that if Modi becomes PM again, then he will change the constitution. I would like to remind Kharge that it was the same Congress that defeated B R Ambedkar in Lok Sabha polls. In fact, Modi honoured Ambedkar duly by deciding to develop five places as ‘Panchteerth’ in his honor. The Congress is trying to portray the BJP as anti-constitution and anti-Ambedkar,” he said.
