Louis Pinto elected president of Mandd Sobhann

MANGALORE: Louis J Pinto has been elected as the president of Mandd Sobhann for 2014-15 at the 27th annual general body meeting of Mandd Sobhann at Kalaangann here. The annual report and the financial statements were presented, discussed and approved at the AGM. The new office bearers for 2014-15 was elected at the first executive committee meeting held on September 24.Eric Ozario will remain the gurkaar (chief) of the organisation.
The other office bearers are: Naveen Lobo – vice-president; Kishore Fernandes – secretary; Rony Crasta; joint-secretary; Clara D’Cunha – treasurer; and Stany Alvares – coordinator, Arun Raj Rodrigues – public relations officer. Committee members are: Roy Castelino, Ronald Mendonca, Rev Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar, Lawrence D’Souza, Victor Mathias, Sheldon Crasta, Matilda Pinto, Irin Rebello, Joy Fernandes (Goa), Rahul Pinto, Sunil Monteiro, Ancy D’Souza Paladka (Mumbai), Ramanand Pai, and Jayaram Siddi (Yellapur).
