Kitchen tools worth ₹27L donated to Kukke temple

Mangaluru: The temple of the serpent god, with a large number of footfalls in South India — Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple — has received a set of modern kitchen equipment and machines to prepare prasada worth Rs 27 lakh as donation by a devotee.
MD of Hyderabad-based AMR Group A Mahesh Reddy on Sunday donated various equipment required for the temple’s kitchen.
Temple management committee president Mohanram Sulli said the industrialist, along with wife, donated the equipment to the temple and offered prayers.
Vegetable-cutting machines, laddu-making machines, trolleys to serve food/ water, and other items were among those donated, he added.
