Karunbithil Shibira at Nidle village from tomorow
Mangaluru: Karunbithil Shibira, an annual musical workshop held in the remote village of Nidle, on Dharmasthala-Nelyadi road will be organised from May 24-28
Renowned violinist Vittal Rammurthy said that since its inception in 2000, the workshop has played a pivotal role in nurturing and inspiring music students and instilling a deep passion for learning and artistic growth.

What started as a humble gathering of the Karunbithil family led by Vittal Ramamurthy from Chennai and his sisters settled in various parts of the country, has now evolved into a highly anticipated annual tradition.
Stalwarts like Lalgudi G Jayaraman, Dr M Balamuralikrishna, Umayalapuram Sivaraman, M Chandrasekharan, VV Subrahmanyam, TV Gopalakrishnan and many current-day stellar musicians have graced the Shibira and have given innumerable memorable moments to cherish.
This year Dr Rajkumar Bharathi, RN Srilatha, VV Subramaniam, P Unnikrishnan, Radha Venkataraman, Abhishek Raghuram, Tirumale Srinivas, Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, Veena Suresh and other renowned musicians will attend. This year’s Shibira will have surprise concerts and individual performance opportunities, in addition to quiz, and lecture demonstrations. Participants will have a unique chance to interact with well-known artists. The grand finale of Karunbithil Shibira will be marked by a violin duet concert by renowned Mysore brothers—Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath.
