Karnataka: Narrow escape for BJP MLA Ramadas in road accident

SA Ramadas, the BJP MLA from Krishnaraja constituency in Mysuru and his brother Srikanth had a narrow escape after the car they were travelling met with an accident in Jalsuru in Dakshina Kannada district on Friday.

MANGALURU: SA Ramadas, the BJP MLA from Krishnaraja constituency in Mysuru and his brother Srikanth had a narrow escape after the car they were travelling met with an accident in Jalsuru in Dakshina Kannada district on Friday.
The MLA and his driver sustained minor injuries and they were being treated at a private hospital. According to the police, the accident took place at around 7.15am.

Ramadas and his brother Srikanth were travelling to Mangaluru via Sullia from Mysuru. When the driver crossed the Jalsuru checkpost, he lost control over wheels and the vehicle skidded into a roadside drain.
Soon after the accident, Union minister DV Sadananda Gowda's nephew, who runs a fuel station close by, rushed to their help and took the car passengers to the hospital.
