International meet: Powerlifter bags 8 gold medals
International powerlifter and international category II referee K Harish Kumar represented India in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships held in Auckland, New Zealand, from November 24 to December 4.
K Harish Kumar
He participated in the M4-84kg category, in both classic and equipped events, and won eight gold medals.
Was Karnataka Kumar
Harish Kumar has been participating in bodybuilding, weightlifting and powerlifting competitions for the last 50 years, and won titles like Karnataka Kumar, and has been a national champion in powerlifting and weightlifting.
He is a member of the Balanjaneya Gymnasium Mangaluru, and a retired employee of the Head Post Office, Mangaluru, stated a release.
