Hindu Mahasabha to fete kar sevaks in city on Jan 22

Mangaluru: Hindu Mahasabha, Karnataka, will honour kar sevaks during Rama Mahotsava to be held at Lakshmi Narayana Temple near PVS Circle here on Jan 22, and the event coincides with the consecration of pran pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Hindu Mahasabha, Karnataka, founder Rajesh Pavitran told reporters here on Thursday that the central government has ignored Hindu Mahasabha, which was one of the petitioners in the Ayodhya dispute. He slammed the central government for not inviting the Hindu Mahasabha for the temple consecration ceremony. “The Union government is inaugurating the temple in a hurry, and doing so without the completion of the holy structure is irreverence to Hindu religion. Hindus will strongly condemn it,” he said. tnn
