Mangaluru: The sixth Graduation Day for the students of MTech, MCA and BE of Sahyadri Engineering and Management College was held on Saturday. Around 550 students received their graduation certificates.
Brijesh Krishnan, associate vice president and head of delivery for high-tech consumer electronics sector at Infosys was the the chief guest. "While on one hand, you celebrate success, there are apprehensions of a new life on the other hand," he said asking the students to cherish the memories and remember their teachers all through their life.
He asked the students to make use of the world of opportunities available in today's world. He adviced the students to select their profession carefully .
Manjunath Bhandary, chairman, Bhandary Foundation in his speech recalled the first time the students visited the campus four years ago, along with their parents.
He advised the students to work with commitment and dedication for a minimum of 2-3 years in their chosen companies.
