Free health camp at Wenlock hospital today

MANGALORE: Omega Hospital, Mangalore, will conduct free medical check-up camp at District Government Wenlock Hospital under the Vajpayee Arogyashree Scheme on Monday from 9.30am to 4pm.
The camp is open to BPL card holders, including those who possess Akshaya and Anthyodaya cards. Senior medical experts will examine patients for cardiac, urology and neurological problems.
Patients can undergo free ECG, BP test, heart scan in addition to consultation by doctors and diet advice by dieticians. Omega Hospital will bear expenses for conducting the camp involving medical examination and medical investigations including doctor's fee, which the state government will reimburse. Interested can meet Dr K Mukund, senior cardiologist and his team of doctors.
Patients should bring with them BPL cards and voters ID to avail the free facility.
