Fit Institution to be inaugurated on Sunday

UDUPI: Inauguration of the Fit Institution under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act 2000, of Sri Krishna Balanikethana, Kukkikatte, Udupi will be held on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference at Pejawar Mutt in Udupi on Wednesday, Sri Krishna Sevadharma Trust secretary Ramachandra Upadhyaya and vice-president Prof K Kamalaksha said along with the inauguration of Fit Institution, a new kitchen block, dining hall and cultural hall will also be inagurated.Home minister V S Acharya and others will be present at the function. Pejawar Mutt seer will preside over the function and the junior seer will deliver the message.
Addressing mediapersons, Pejawar mutt seer said the Srikrishna Balanikethana, a residential school for less fortunate children which was incepted in 2006 is striving to meet its objective to provide a decent and dignified life to children devoid of opportunities. Many social and voluntary organizations and individuals have come forward to support the cause, he said and urged more such support to flow, so that these hapless children would become accomplished citizens in future.
