MANGALURU: 'Edu-Path: Career Guidance Programme - 2016' was held at Expert PU College campus, Valachil, aiming at providing students with comprehensive and up-to-date information on the full range of options in higher education.
Dr M Shantharama Shetty, pro-chancellor, Nitte University, in his inaugural address said that education needn't be confined to one destination as there are many paths.
Citing diverse examples, anecdotes and stories, he urged the students to develop the all-round qualities inherent in them, as ordinary things have no place in the competitive world.
He advised the students to brace themselves for the tough competition in life, because competition brings out the best in each person. He felt that students need to cultivate a positive outlook about failures, so that they continue to dream and pursue them.
