Deputy speaker chosen for trust

MANGALORE: Sevanjali Charitable Trust has chosen deputy speaker of the state assembly and Mangalore City South MLA N Yogish Bhat for its Sevanjali Man of the year 2011 award. The award will be conferred on Yogish Bhat at a function to be held at Sri Venkataramana Temple, Car Street on August 27. The Trust has chosen Bhat for his pro-people, and development oriented vision and social concerns as well as his long standing contribution to politics for the last two-decades.
The trust will also conduct a Sri Sathyanarayana Pooja on this occasion. On August 28, the Trust in association with Chethana Bala Vikasa Kendra would organise a mammoth blood donation camp at Chethana School on V T Road.
