Ahmed said that though the Congress is confident of bagging 130 seats in the next assembly election, the party will campaign with a broader goal of winning 150 constituencies.
He was speaking to reporters after holding a district-level election committee meeting here on Monday.
The KPCC has received nearly 1,350 applications from seat aspirants in the state.
Lists of aspirants have been sent to the respective districts for district-level scrutiny by leaders. It has already been decided that a list of candidates for about 150 Assembly constituencies in the state will be announced before January 15, Ahmed said. tnn
