Celebration at Campco

Mangaluru: To commemorate the registration of Campco on July 11, 1973, by its founder president, the late Varanashi Subraya Bhat, multi-state cooperative Campco, celebrated its Foundation Day on July 11, by releasing a golden jubilee logo. L N Kudoor, former president of Campco, released the logo.
H M Krishna Kumar, MD, delivering the keynote address, outlined how Campco, with an initial membership of 3,500 farmers, has now grown, and has 12,50,000 members.Padma Shri Amai Mahalinga Naik, who is a Campco member, and had a close association with Varanashi Subraya Bhat, was felicitated.
Campco president Amasabail Kishore Kumar Kodgi, reminisced about the efforts of his predecessors, and highlighted that the Campco board of management has planned many projects for the future.
