Besigegondu Chamara 2025 Concludes

Mangaluru: The valedictory of the fifth edition of ‘Besigegondu Chamara 2025', a free summer camp jointly organised by Chamara Foundation and Hindu Vidyadayinee Sangha, was held at the Hindu Vidyadayinee High School, Surathkal, on Friday.This unique camp, specially curated for students from government schools, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 children, engaging in a week-long learning experience filled with creativity, fun, and development activities.Vineeth Kumar, a well-known actor from the Tulu and Kannada film industries, lauded the initiative and emphasised how such camps provide meaningful exposure to children who otherwise lack access to these experiences. He expressed hope that students would apply these learnings to their academic journey and personal lives.Rahul Amin, actor, director, and host, addressing the gathering as a special guest, remarked that camps like these are excellent platforms for personality development. He encouraged children to make the most of such opportunities to build their skills and confidence.Among other dignitaries present on the dais were Santosh Pai, General Manager at BASF, Sudhakar Rao Pejawar, Correspondent of Vidyadayinee High School and Rachana, Managing Trustee of Chamara Foundation. The week-long camp, which began on April 12, featured sessions led by more than 22 resource persons, including eminent names like Karan Acharya, Vismaya Vinayak, Shashidhar Shetty, and the Darpana Performing Arts team from Udupi. The camp offered experiences in yoga, art, dance, theatre, and other creative disciplines.
